New Delhi: HTC has announced the launch of two new smartphones - the HTC One M9+ and the HTC E9+ - in India. The HTC One M9+ is priced at Rs 52,500 and will be available in India starting May. The company, however, has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details of the E9+.
The HTC One M9+, a larger variant of the One M9, sports an all-metal body with a 5.2-inch 2K display, MediaTek Helio X10 core processor with 3GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear camera, and the HTC UltraPixel front-facing camera.
The phone comes with HTC's Sense 7 technology, HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio surround sound, and also a fingerprint sensor that is located on the front of the phone. It boasts of a 2840mAh battery and runs the latest Android Lollipop OS.
The HTC E9+, which is the successor to the E8 model, features a 5.5-inch quad HD display, a 2GHz MediaTek MT6795M octa-core processor with 64-bit capability, and 3GB of RAM.
The Android Lollipop-based HTC E9+ further sports a 20 megapixel rear camera, and the Ultrapixel front camera. It includes 16GB of internal storage and 2800mAh battery.
HTC has also promised that its Re Vive virtual reality headset will soon hit the Indian market.
