The friends and family of Babar and Sana Khan are still in shock after the untimely demise of the beautiful Pakistani actress and model. Babar, her husband, who was in the car with her at the time of the accident continued to be critical according to various Pakistani media sites.

"Her friends and family are still at shock and hoping for Babar's speedy recovery. However, doctors at Liaquat University Hospital are still saying that he continues to be in critical condition," the Eastern Tribune reported. Sana was known for acting in serials such as 'Parchaiyan'.

The duo had got married in December, 2013. Sana died in a car accident near Looni Kot on super highway 30 kilometres from Hyderabad. The actress was on her way to Karachi with her husband. According to Dawn.com, the car driven by Babar went out of control near Looni Kot and overturned as a result of which both Sana and Babar received serious injuries.

The ambulance reached on the spot and the two were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro where Sana succumbed to her injuries. The vehicle was being driven by Babar, known for the serial 'Ek Tamana Lahasil Se'.

The Dawn quoted several industry insiders on their memories about Sana.

"Khan came to me when I was organising the second Miss Veet Super Model contest. She immediately got shortlisted as one of the top 10 finalists. She went on to win the contest at the main event for her height, walk, and photogenic ability. She worked with our modeling agency, Cats, doing fashion weeks, shoots and commercials. It was at the Porsche Polo fashion show last night that I heard of her untimely demise," said Frieha Altaf, a former model and talent manager.

"So very saddened by Sana's untimely death, she was such a beautiful and lively person. I remember meeting her at the Veet Miss Super Model contest where she was an innocent girl with wide-eyed dreams of stardom," said photographer Tapu Javeri.
