Damodar denies rift with Kiran Kumar Reddy

HYDERABAD: Deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha on Tuesday refuted reports of differences between him and chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Reacting to reports in a section of media, he dismissed them as baseless and said the council of ministers was working as a team under the chief minister.“The chief minister is our head and there can be no differences.We are all working as a team and we will respect him.The Congress is, in fact, providing ample opportunities to Dalits in politics.I am an example of this,” he asserted.According to sources, Rajanarasimha ate his own words after the chief minister had sent the newspaper clippings to the party high command, putting the deputy chief minister in the dock.
