Channel viewers in Kerala to miss ESPN

KOCHI: With Asianet cable threatening to switch off signals of ESPN, Star Sports and Star Cricket later this month, an ESPN spokesperson on Saturday said that the Asianet cable subscribers in Kerala will be missing the Wimbledon starting on Monday. “Besides the Wimbledon, Kerala will also see a blackout on Formula One and India’s tour of England on account of threat to switch off ESS signals due to adamancy of not continuing at the same commercial terms, stating high payout and other issues,” said a statement issued by ESPN.
