New Delhi: The Delhi police have detained a Ghaziabad-based criminal for allegedly supplying weapons to the 3 accused in the serial honour killings that took place in the Ashok Vihar area of North West Delhi.
He will now be further interrogated to determine the whereabouts of the prime suspects – Ankit and Mandeep. Four days after the crime, they are still absconding. They are suspected to be behind the killing of their two sisters and brother-in-law.
On Wednesday, the Delhi police had announced a cash reward of 50,000 rupees for any clues on whereabouts of the accused.
The police have also detained Dharamveer Nagar, uncle of the suspected honour killers. Dharamveer Nagar had justified the honour killings on Wednesday.
