New Delhi: Anupam Kher’s newly-opened acting school has become a learning hub for those who dream to make it big in Bollywood.
The latest one to join his list of patrons is model Gauhar Khan. “Models can’t act is an outdated phrase,” says Gauhar who is set to conquer the "big bad world of Bollywood."
The model is working hard on her acting skills, and has managed to capture attention of some big film houses, thanks to Anupam Kher’s acting school Actor Prepares.
“I love cinema and I know how profitable it is to work in cinema. I would like to work in films. TV offers are coming my way, but I’m not interested. I joined Anupam Kher’s acting school a month back. They are teaching me acting, dancing and yoga as well,” Gauhar was quoted by a website.
The model is so impressed with Anupam’s acting classes that she has even given up her anchoring assignments and TV shows.
“I quit anchoring because I wanted to concentrate on my school. However, I’m still doing a few fashion shows as only two holidays are allowed every month,” she said.
Well, whosoever said acting runs in the blood must notice the upcoming lot of trained actors ready to conquer the celluloid screens.
