How to Change Your Location in Google Chrome
How to Change Your Location in Google Chrome
This wikiHow teaches you how to alter your location information for searches performed in Google Chrome. Keep in mind that changing your location settings won't unblock content that is restricted in your region; if you want to unblock content or hide your location in Google Chrome, you'll need to use a proxy or a VPN.
Steps

Open Android 7 Chrome Google Chrome. Click or double-click the Chrome app, which resembles a red, yellow, green, and blue sphere. Unfortunately, you can't change your Chrome location settings on an iPhone or Android.

Search for something. Click the address bar at the top of the window, then type in whatever you want to search for and press ↵ Enter.

Click Settings. It's below and to the right of the search bar that's at the top of the search results page. A drop-down menu will appear.

Click Search settings. This option is in the drop-down menu. Doing so opens your Google Account's search settings page.

Scroll down to the "Region Settings" section. It's near the bottom of the page.

Select a region. Click the circular checkbox to the left of a region from which you want to see search results. If you don't see your preferred region, click Show more below the list of regions to view all available ones.

Scroll down and click Save. It's a blue button near the bottom of the page.

Click OK when prompted. Doing so will save your settings and refresh the search; if there are more pertinent search results from your selected region, they will be displayed.

What's your reaction?
