The Supreme Court (SC) has directed realty major DLF to deposit Rs 50 crore in the next 3 weeks and the total sum of Rs 628 crore in the next three months at the SC registry.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court (SC) has directed realty major DLF to deposit Rs 50 crore in the next 3 weeks and the total sum of Rs 628 crore in the next three months at the SC registry. DLF was fined Rs 628 crore by the Competition Commission of India in 2011 for allegedly violating building norms in a residential property in Gurgaon.

DLF had a property in Gurgaon in which it allegedly flouted FAR norms following which the Resident Welfare Association lodged a complaint against the company.
