Popular Kannada actor Ganesh is all set to greet his fans with his upcoming movie Baanadariyalli. It is directed by Preetham Gubbi while the story is written by the cinematographer Preetha Jayaram. The film is slated to release tomorrow i.e. September 28. Apart from Ganesh, the movie also stars actress Rukmini Vasanth and Reeshma Nanaiah in the lead roles.
As the release date is around the corner, the actor has shared some of his experiences during the making of this film. Baanadariyalli is the first Kannada movie ever to be shot in the Maasai Mara forest in Africa.
During an episode of Echoes Of Baanadariyalli, actor Ganesh said that he enjoyed working in the forests of Africa. He praised the cinematographer of the movie Abhilash Kalathi for his resilience and hard work. He shared that he and the film team used to wake up at 4:00 clock in the morning to begin the shoot of the movie. They used to travel in two Safari jeeps to reach the location.
While sharing the experience, Ganesh said that the local people of that forest clapped for his performance during a shoot for a particular sequence. As soon as the director said cut, the local people started clapping, added actor Ganesh. He acknowledged their praise and hoped that his fans and Kannadigas who know the language could appreciate his film.
During the show, the actor also praised his fellow star Rangayan Raghu who will be playing a significant role in the movie. He called it a wonderful experience. “The last 20 minutes of the whole movie is my favourite scene," added Kannada actor Ganesh. He claimed that the last 20 minutes of the movie would leave a thrill in the heart of the audience.
Ganesh will play the role of a cricketer in this movie while he falls in love with the actress Rukmini Vasanth’s character, as shown in the trailer. The makers have claimed that Baanadariyalli is not a love story but a story about love. The film was supposed to be released in 2022 but after a series of postponements, the makers have decided to premiere the movie on September 28.
