As per the reports, this marriage in Mahoba was set based on a lie. The family of the groom hid the fact that their son was illiterate. However, the bride had an interesting method in mind to find out the truth about her would-be husband.

Unsurprisingly, the groom was unable to answer her question and she called off the wedding. More reports state that it was an arranged marriage.

A newspaper clipping of the case was shared on Instagram by an account called @shayar_yogi_, which is now going viral. Netizens are sharing their hilarious reactions to the news in the comment section. The first user wrote, “Kis kis ne 2 ka pahada abhi yaad kiya (Who learned the table of 2 just now?). The second user shared, “Sare ladke 2 ka pahada yaad kar ke aayenge apni shadi me (All the boys will come to their weddings only after learning the table of 2). While a third user stated, “Yar mujhe bhi 2 ka pahada nahi aata (Even I don’t remember the table of 2). The post has gained thousands of likes on the platform.
