Blame game surfaced in a feedback meeting of Rajasthan Congress on Friday which was held to ascertain reasons for the Lok Sabha polls debacle in the State where party could not win even a single seat out of the 25.

The meeting, which was convened by RPCC president Sachin Pilot, AICC general secretary and state in charge Gurudas Kamat and co-in charge Mirza Irshad Baig, witnessed blame game as some of them publicly held former Congress government responsible for the defeat.

Udailal Anjana, who contested the Lok Sabha elections on Jalore seat, told reporters that policies of the former government were responsible for the poor performance of the party in the elections.

"People were frustrated that they rejected party in Assembly elections and preferred not to vote for Congress even in the Lok Sabha polls," he said, adding that workers were also not given their due importance.

The leaders, who took feedback from 25 Lok Sabha constituencies, also discussed future strategies to take the party forward.
