A dog is arguably the most loyal creature that humans can keep as pets. Once the flurry companion starts sensing the connection, a dog can do anything to protect its owner. Pet parents must be familiar with the fact that canines are quite fond of human touch. But people, who spend the majority of a day out due to work commitments, may not get enough time to play with their pet dogs. Now, an auto driver based in Bengaluru seems to have discovered a way to resolve this issue. In a video going viral on the internet, the person was spotted enjoying a ride with his pet dog, which was comfortably seated on his lap.

The clip was dropped on an Instagram page named Pawful World. The caption of the post read, “Today I saw an auto driver taking his hooman for a ride! Uber driver: Tommy.” Like any other dog-related content, the video was an instant hit, with viewers appreciating the beautiful gesture by the auto driver.

The video opens on a busy road somewhere in Bengaluru. The auto was stuck in traffic congestion when someone from an adjacent vehicle was able to capture the moment. The dog was seen holding the handlebar of the autorickshaw while standing on the lap of its owner.

As soon as the signal turned green, the auto driver accelerated the three-wheeler as he went on to enjoy the journey with his pet. Since being posted on Instagram, the video has garnered more than 370,000 views while accumulating over 34,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

Highlighting Bengalureans’ love and affection towards dogs, a user wrote, “Scenes like this are so common in Bangalore that I’m convinced it is heaven for Doggos. Been here for 10 years and the amount of love and care that I’ve observed Kannadigas share for their strays is just heartwarming and I wish other cities in India could emulate it.”

Overwhelmed by the sight, another viewer commented, “I wouldn’t mind getting stuck in Bangalore traffic.” “I wish every dog is happy like this one,” wrote an individual. Shedding light on the benefits of having a pet, a user said, “The power of their love makes us strong.”
