The Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, is priced at Rs 6,999 and sports a plastic body. The Redmi 3S Prime is priced at Rs 8,999 but the value add over here is the metal body, fingerprint sensor and more RAM. If you don't want that then there is also a regular Redmi 3S that's priced at Rs 6,999 that majorly lacks on the fingerprint sensor. In 2016, it just makes more sense to buy the Redmi 3S or 3S Prime and not the older and now redundant Redmi 2 Prime.
