Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will soon star in Alpha, the highly anticipated action-thriller under the Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. Since the announcement, the buzz around the film has also increased, as it is YRF’s first entry into the spy genre with female leads. Both Sharvari and Alia started shooting for the film in Kashmir last month. Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shravari shared her experience of working with Alia Bhatt and expressed how she hopes to learn more from the seasoned actress.
In conversation with Pinkvilla, Sharvari expressed how excited she was to share screen with Alia Bhatt in Alpha. Sharing her experience, the actress stated, “It’s the best. I get to work with one of the best actors in our country, she is my favourite, and I think she is everyone’s favourite actress undoubtedly.”
Sharvari went on to add that she has been a student on sets of Alpha because she admires Alia Bhatt’s work a lot. She mentioned, “Every time I sit in the theatre, I know that I can expect something outstanding, and I really do hope to get there someday. So, for me, it’s like I am a student, I want to learn as much as I can from Alia, and it’s like a masterclass. I get to be a part of a masterclass and enjoy it.”
Last week, Alia Bhatt shared a photo of herself with Sharvari from their shoot location in Kashmir. In the photograph, both women are standing with their backs to the camera, forming a heart shape with their arms up. The picture suggested that they were in a picturesque outdoor setting, with a hazy, forested backdrop and a flowing river. In the caption, she wrote, “Love, ALPHA!”
Alpha is a crucial milestone in Sharvari’s career, as she enters a YRF spy universe, which includes successful releases like the Salman Khan led Tiger franchise, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and War, starring Hrithik Roshan. Sharvari is currently revelling in the success of Munjya, Maharaj, and her most recent release, Vedaa. The film, starring John Abraham and directed by Nikkhil Advani, is about a Dalit girl who is harassed by the higher caste and how Major Abhimanyu Vedaa plays an important role in her life.
