Vijay Deverakonda tackled a tricky situation with a woman with absolute grace, a new video has revealed. The Arjun Reddy actor was in Mumbai as part of the Amazon Prime Video event featuring his upcoming release, Family Star. The actor shared the stage with Shahid Kapoor at the event. A new video revealed that before he went up on stage, a woman reached out to him and grabbed his hand. Vijay was visibly taken aback by the turn of events.
However, Vijay Deverakonda maintained his calm and heard the woman out. He then excused himself and requested her to give him time to get back to her. Vijay’s reaction to the incident has now gone viral. Watch the video below:
Meanwhile, at the event, Vijay spoke about his next project is titled Family Star. The film stars him and Mrunal Thakur in the lead. Family Star is directed by Parasuram Petla and co-produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. For this film, Vijay Deverakonda once again collaborates with filmmaker Parasuram Petla, after the success of the smash hit Geetha Govindam. The team recently wrapped the filming. The team, at the event, revealed that the film will stream on Amazon Prime Video after it completes its theatrical release. The film is set to hit the big screen on April 5.
Last year, Vijay Deverakonda shared a teaser for the film. The clip shows a ganglord (Ajay Ghosh) informing Vijay that chopping onions and getting kids ready for school is not a sign of masculinity. Vijay is shown undertaking these chores in the teaser. He seems unconcerned by these insults and then proceeds to bend a rod and beat one of the gang members. The teaser concludes with Mrunal Thakur calling Vijay, implying a potential romance track between the two stars. In the caption, he wrote, “In every family – there is A Hero! This one is for all of you.”
