The turf war between the Delhi Police and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government appears to be intensifying with each passing day.
In the latest development, Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief MK Meena has alleged that complaints registered on anti-corruption helpline 1031 are not getting transferred to the agency.
"The calls to helpline should not be suppressed. The Delhi government should transfer the complaints to the ACB and proper action will be taken by us," said the ACB chief.
Meena further said that if the government cannot address the complaints on helpline 1031, they should shut it down and let the ACB address such issues.
The ACB chief also said that he has no jurisdiction over DDA, so an FIR can't be registered against the DDA officials who were caught accepting a bribe.
Delhi Police commissioner BS Bassi refused to comment over the issue.
