The National Institute of Design (NID) will release the admit cards for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Exam 2023 on December 12. The DAT 2023 exam will be conducted for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes as well as the Master of Design (M.Des) programmes. Once it is released, candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website of NID at admissions.nid.edu. The admit cards for the DAT 2023 exam are expected to be released around 4 pm.
“Download Admit Card from 1600 hrs. Tuesday, 12 December 2023,” reads a note that is displayed on the main website. Candidates can access the NID DAT 2023 admit card by using their correct login credentials such as registration number and date of birth (DoB). The NID DAT 2023 exam will consist of two stages – Prelims and Mains. The Design Aptitude Test is administered for students seeking admission into B.Des. Programmes and M.Des. Programmes of the NID.
As per the schedule, the Prelims exams will be conducted on December 24, 2023. The result of the B.Des. exam will be issued on March 28, 2024, and the result for the M.Des exam will be released on February 16, 2024. Furthermore, the DAT mains exam for B.Des. programme will be held on April 27 and 28, next year, while the M.Des exam will take place between March 3 and April 6, 2024.
NID DAT 2023 Admit Card: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to NID’s official website at admissions.nid.edu
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the B.Des. DAT 2023 or M.Des. DAT 2023 admit card link, once activated.
Step 3: As a new page opens, enter the login details (registration number and date of birth) and click on submit.
Step 4: The NID DAT 2023 Admit Card will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check all the details and download the hall ticket.
It is important to note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam if they do not present their NID DAT 2023 hall ticket at the exam centre. All appearing candidates must also bring an identity proof such as a voter ID, PAN card, passport, Aadhaar card, student ID card, and driver’s licence.
The NID DAT Prelims exam questions will be divided into two categories: subjective type questions and objective type questions. Part I of the NID DAT will be for 40 marks while Part II will be for 60 marks. The Design Aptitude Test is intended to assess candidates’ abilities in design, creativity, observation, and communication.
