AAJ KA PANCHANG, NOVEMBER 26, 2023: As per Drik Panchang, Sunday, November 26, will witness the observance of Chaturdashi Tithi and Purnima Tithi in the Shukla Paksha. On this significant day, followers will participate in four religious celebrations, namely Manikarnika Snan, Dev Diwali, Kartigai Deepam, and Kartika Chaumasi Chaudas.

Dev Deepawali, or Dev Diwali, is an acclaimed festival held annually in the sacred city of Varanasi. This Utsav commemorates the triumph of Lord Shiva over the demon Tripurasur. Consequently, Dev Deepawali Utsav is also referred to as Tripurotsav or Tripurari Purnima observed on the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima.

Devotees partake in a sacred bath in the Ganges on this propitious day and illuminate earthen lamps or Diyas in the evening. As night falls, the steps of all the Ghats along the Ganges are adorned with millions of glowing earthen lamps. It’s not only the Ghats along the Ganges but also all the temples in Benares that gleam with millions of Diyas.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON NOVEMBER 26

The day is expected to begin with the sunrise at 6:52 AM and end with the sunset at 5:24 PM. On the other hand, the moonrise is slated to occur at 4:30 PM, the moonset is scheduled for 6:42 AM on November 27.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR NOVEMBER 26

The Chaturdashi Tithi will continue until 3:53 PM on November 26, followed by the commencement of the Purnima Tithi. The auspicious Bharani Nakshatra will last until 2:05 PM on November 26, post which the Krittika Nakshatra will take place. The sun will be in Vrishchika Rashi, while the moon will be in Mesha Rashi up to 7:56 PM.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR NOVEMBER 26

The auspicious timings are as follows: The Brahma Muhurta, considered favorable for significant activities, is scheduled from 5:04 AM to 5:58 AM. Pratah Sandhya is anticipated to occur between 5:31 AM and 6:52 AM. The Godhuli Muhurat, another auspicious window, is expected from 5:22 PM to 5:49 PM. Additionally, the Nishita Muhurta is set to commence from 11:42 PM to 12:36 AM on November 27.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR NOVEMBER 26

Inauspicious timings or ashubh muhurat for the day, are as follows: Rahu Kalam is scheduled from 4:05 PM to 5:24 PM, while the Yamaganda Muhurta is expected between 12:08 PM and 1:27 PM. Gulikai Kalam is slated to occur from 2:46 PM to 4:05 PM. The Dur Muhurtam is predicted to commence from 4:00 PM to 4:42 PM. The Baana Muhurta suggests the presence of Mrityu from 11:12 PM to full night on November 26.
