Ranbir Kapoor is currently making headlines after the release of the teaser of his highly-anticipated film Animal. The actor seems to be on a roll because soon after the release of Animal, he will reportedly begin shooting his next film, the first instalment in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana franchise. He was recently seen arriving at the airport, and then engaged in a quick banter with paps.
In a video that was shared by the popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani, Ranbir Kapoor was seen donning a light blue varsity jacket. He paired with blue denims, and walked across the terminal. While the shutterbugs captured him, he then engaged with a fun banter with them and teased them saying, ‘Aaja Baith Ja’ as he walked into his car.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of Animal, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The film marks their first collaboration together. Besides the two, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles. According to the film’s teaser, Ranbir’s character’s attachment leads him on the path of becoming a gangster, eventually coming to face with his nemesis, played by Bobby Deol. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir’s father in this movie.
In one of his recent Instagram LIVE sessions, Ranbir Kapoor talked about Animal and revealed that he had to undergo a massive transformation for the film. “For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates,” he said.
Directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, Animal will hit theatres on December 1.
