Tom Cruise Tries To Put All 7 Mission Impossible Films In A 90-Second Clip; The Result Is Epic
A trailer featuring all the popular action scenes from the Mission: Impossible films was unveiled at the Super Bowl Sunday.

While franchises have been ruling Hollywood for several years now, one of the most celebrated and a popular franchise has been delivered by none other than Tom Cruise. The actor’s Mission: Impossible series stands above the rest, spanning 22 years now. After the success of the latest film in the franchise, Dead Reckoning, last year, fans are eagerly waiting for the eighth film, which is expected to release in 2025. While fans remain excited for the next installment, Cruise seems to be taking a walk down memory lane, cruising through all his past seven films.

In a clip shared on his social media handle, the Hollywood action star features in all the major action scenes from Ethan Hunt’s first seven outings. The 90-second clip includes some famous locations from the franchise and the most daring stunts, including climbing the Burj Khalifa in Ghost Protocol, the insane helicopter shot out in Fallout, hanging outside of a moving plane from Rogue Nation, and the stunning rock climbing opening from M: I 2. Out of all of these, one of the most dangerous stunts came in the last part, where Cruise was seen driving a motorcycle off a cliff before making parachutes escape.

The interesting trailer of the Mission: Impossible franchise was also dropped at the Super Bowl LVIII. “It’s hard to put all 7 films into 90 seconds, but we certainly had fun trying,” Cruise wrote while sharing the trailer.

While the beloved action franchise is already getting its own time as all seven films are streaming on Paramount Plus, the trailer gave it the chance to shine even more.

Mission: Impossible 7

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One turned out to be one of the best entries in the franchise. Featuring Tom Cruise in the lead role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, the film seemed to have fallen flat at the box office. While the seventh film was critically acclaimed, it could amass only $565.7 million.

What do we know about Mission: Impossible 8?

The eighth installment in the franchise is said to be in production presently. The film was earlier supposed to be named Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two; however, Paramount recently dropped “Part One” from the title, thus indicating that fans can expect a new title for the next film.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film will release on May 23, 2025.
