This Actress Has Delivered Just One Hit Film In Her Decade Long Career

Actress Urvashi Rautela is one of the prominent faces in the film world. Every time she steps out of her home, she grabs the spotlight for her stunning attire. From walking the red carpet at Cannes to working in films, she has been doing it all. Despite her over-a-decade-long career in the film industry, she has been a part of just one hit film among many consecutive flops. Urvashi Rautela was crowned as the Miss Diva – Miss Universe India in 2015. The glam queen first marked her debut with the Hindi film, Singh Saab The Great in 2013, where she was cast opposite Sunny Deol. Yo Yo Honey Singh later roped her in for a music video titled Love Dose, released in October 2014. Later, she ventured into the Kannada industry and marked her debut with Mr Airavata, which received negative reviews from critics, but her dance performance was highly praised.

Urvashi Rautela featured in another Hindi film like Sanam Re, which was made with a budget of Rs 25 crore and earned Rs 31.46 crore, but still failed to leave a mark on the audience. She signed up for Great Grand Masti, which had an average performance at the box office. It was made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, but could mint only Rs 19 crore. In 2017, she starred in a special dance sequence Haseeno Ka Deewana in the film Kaabil, which earned her appreciation from Amitabh Bachchan. She also made a special appearance in the Bangladeshi film Porobashinee. She starred in Hate Story 4 and Pagalpanti, which again failed at the box office.

After a few consecutive mega-flops, Urvashi Rautela continued with music videos and tried to sign up for good scripts. She featured in the megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer for an item number in Waltair Veerayya, which is the only hit film she has been a part of. The Bobby Kolli-directed film was made on a budget of Rs 140 crore and minted Rs 225.70 crore.

Recently, Urvashi Rautela hogged the spotlight after she attended the Cannes Film Festival. The prestigious event was graced by stars from Hollywood to Bollywood, who left quite an impression on the audience with their choiceful attires. Actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Kiara Advani and Aditi Rao Hydari were all in attendance. Urvashi Rautela left everyone stunned with her princess-like outfit. Her mesmerising gown and ravishing beauty quickly became the talk of the town and the photos went viral on the internet.
