Ryan Gosling On Crying To Taylor Swift's Song In The Fall Guy: 'Didn't Know They Were Filming'
In The Fall Guy, there's a memorable scene where Ryan Gosling is seen shedding tears while listening to a Taylor Swift song inside his car.

Featuring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in the lead roles, the action-comedy film The Fall Guy will hit theatres on May 3. Directed by David Leitch, the film focuses on the story of Colt Seavers, who tries to solve a mystery behind a missing movie star while also trying to win back his ladylove, Jody Moreno. Ahead of its release, the film also had an early screening with the leads taking over the red carpet, keeping it all glamorous. When talking about the film, while it promises to be packed with adrenaline-pumping action thrills along with humour and romance, The Fall Guy also features a scene that happens to have captured Gosling’s original feelings towards his favourite Taylor Swift.

Not just us; it seems the Barbie actor is also a die-hard Swiftie. In an emotional scene in the film, Gosling’s Colt Seavers was caught crying in his car while singing to Swift’s breakup anthem, All Too Well. While many found his expressions too good to be real, the actor has now admitted that “it was him.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Ryan Gosling said, “That was actually me. I didn’t know they were filming.” Joining in the conversation, Emily Blunt quipped on the popular scene and said, “We couldn’t get him out of his emotions in that scene.”

Further, the duo also agreed that the Taylor Swift song had to be the one to be played in that scene, adding, “It’s so gushing.”

Apart from that, the La La Land actor, in another interview with Collider, admitted that he went a bit “too far” with his emotions during the scene. “I wasn’t sure to what lengths you would go with the car cry, so when the window went down, I was like, ‘wow’,” Blunt added.

Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt Sing A Rendition Of Taylor Swift’s Song

While we still can’t get enough of Ryan’s “real” crying scene in The Fall Guy, the lead actors, during their recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, were seen singing All Too Well during the monologue.

Finally, letting go of his Barbie character, Gosling said, “You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup, and for processing a breakup, there’s really only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift,” further proceeding to sing.

Their performance also got the approval of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter.

Taylor Swift shared a clip of Gosling’s monologue on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything.”
