Pawan Kalyan Criticises Modern Portrayal Of Heroes In South Films
Kalyan talked about the iconic role of forest officer that was portrayed by Dr Rajkumar in the 1973 film, Gandhada Gudi.

Superstar Allu Arjun will be soon seen in the sequel of Pushpa: The Rise. Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 will feature actors like Rashmika Mandanna and Prakash Raj in leading roles. A large number of fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. The release date has been delayed multiple times. The film is now expected to hit the theatres on December 6. Recently, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and well-known actor Pawan Kalyan made some comments about the changing portrayal of heroes in recent films. While speaking alongside the Forest Minister of Karnataka Eshwar B. Khandre mentioned the shift in the films in which characters who were once shown as protectors are now often shown as villainous characters.

Reflecting on the post, Kalyan talked about the iconic role of forest officer that was portrayed by Dr. Rajkumar in the 1973 film, Gandhada Gudi. “Around 40 years ago, a hero was someone who protected forests from poachers and smugglers. Nut now a hero is someone who destroyed forests and is a smuggler,” he said, according to a report by ABP.

The Jana Sena Party leader founder who has been one of the most popular faces of the Indian film industry expressed his displeasure with the cultural transformation. He said, “I am also associated with the film industry. But most of the time I struggle to do such films. Of course, films sometimes are different but the cultural shift that happened is quite interesting.”

These comments have created a massive stir among the fans. Many questioned the sifts between the two stars. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the film Ustaad Bhagat Singh directed by Harish Shankar. He will also be featured in Sujeeth’s OG.

As Pushpa 2 got a new release date fans are eagerly waiting to experience the film at the theatres. Part 1 recorded a massive box office collection and was highly loved by audiences. Pushpa 2 was earlier scheduled to hit the silver screen on August 15.
