BANGALORE: Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy on Monday said that the flight of foreign investments from the state is a temporary phenomenon and steps should be taken to bring them back. Speaking on the sidelines of a programme organised to sign an MOU between Janaagraha and Election Commission Narayana Murthy said, “The flow of foreign investments to the state might have reduced to some extent. But it is only a temporary phase. The government has to do whatever is necessary to attract the investors.”At the programme, Murthy said that successful elections are the key to a successful democracy and with low voter turn out the elections cannot be called successful. It is difficult to get more people to vote without accurate electoral list, he felt.
