CHENNAI: Three history sheeters were booked under the Goondas Act here on Friday.
The trio Senthil alias Burma Senthil, Viji alias Vijayakumar, and Poovarasan were found to be involved in some murder and attempttomurder cases. It was after Senthil and Viji allegedly attempted to murder Kuralarasan on June 24, that Chetpet Police Inspector S Muthuvel Pandi reviewed previous cases against them.

Based on the Inspector's recommendation, City Commissioner of Police J K Tripathy ordered detention of the three under Goondas Act.
