Software engineer robbed in HSR Layout

BANGALORE: A software engineer was attacked by two unidentified miscreants on Haralur Main Road in HSR Layout police station limits on Thursday night.Dhawal Bhatt, a native of Madhya Pradesh, is identified as the victim. He resides in an apartment in Haralur Main Road. The police said that Bhatt took the office cab to return home and alighted near the apartment building. As he was walking towards his building, two miscreants came in a car and waylaid him.They picked up a quarrel with him and informed him that he was troubling their sister. They then tried to snatch his wallet. When he resisted, they allegedly stabbed his thigh eight times and robbed him of Rs1,000 cash and fled the scene. Later, Bhatt filed a case in HSR Layout police station.Police is investigating the case.
