Rajgarh: Two children drown in water pit

Two kids drowned in a pit filled with rain water near Khilchipur town in the district, police said on Sunday.

The children, identified as Ritik (8) and Rupali (8), fell into the pit filled with rain water while playing near it last evening, police said.

The pit was dug illegally for excavation of earthen material, police said adding that the bodies were recovered from it after a search.

A case has been registered in this regard and further probe was on.
