A consultant of Fuel Management Plant of Tata Steel was on Wednesday grilled by the investigating team looking into the company's LD gas holder explosion, which claimed the life of one employee and injured ten others about a month ago.

"We have questioned the consultant (Fuel Management plant) of Tata Steel, AK Lahiri, in connection with the explosion that occurred on November 14 last on the company premises," said a senior official.

"We have asked him to make available all-related documents tomorrow to expedite the investigation," Singh said, adding that Lahiri was summoned to the office of Deputy Chief of Inspector of Factories, AK Mishra.
