HYDERABAD: The Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) and Telangana Vidyarthi Ikya Vedika (TVIV) have extended their support to Tuesday’s Telangana bandh called by various political parties.Reacting to the suicide of Rajamouli in Hanamkonda reportedly for the cause of Telangana, TVIV president K Mahesh said the youth of the region have been resorting to suicides as they lost confidence on the people’s representatives in getting separate statehood to the region.Mahesh said the elected representatives’ attitude is driving students to suicide and these deaths should be considered as political murders.Appealing to the student community not to resort to suicides, the TVIV said it would support and participate in Tuesday’s bandh.Meanwhile, the OUJAC also extended its support to the bandh and appealed to the students not to sacrifice their lives.The OUJAC also planned to have a candle light rally on Tuesday on the campus.
