BANGALORE: Now you can save yourself the hassle of having to wait endless hours after you arrive in Thailand by applying in advance for a visa and getting it approved in Bangalore itself. VFS Global and the Royal Thai Counsulate General, Chennai, announced the launch of new services in the city for pre-processing of visa applications.“There are many benefits of using this service. One can get a visa for 60 days instead of the usual 15 day stay granted for on-arrival visa applicants,” said Chanchai Charanvatnakit, Counsul General, Royal Thai Counsulate General, Chennai.The centre located in Shivajinagar in Prestige Atrium will add additional capacity of processing upto 60 additional applications a day. “Bangalore saw close to 10000 applications last year. If we have more numbers of applications, we shall look at implementing a single day processing mechanism,” Charanvatnakit added.For further information visit www.vfs-thailand.co.in. The centre will be open from 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm on Monday to Friday.
