In order to make students aware about international diplomacy, Ryan International School organised RYAN MUN (Ryan Model United Nations)on Tuesday. The students from Class 6 to 9 represented different countries such as the USA, UK, India, Russia and Yemen as delegates and presented their views on issues. The peace and disarmament assembly questioned whether the nuclear weapons should be destroyed or not.
Indore: University holds community education awareness campaign
Oriental University on Tuesday organised a community educational awareness programme. As a part of the programme, college faculties delivered lectures and organised a symposiums for the participants. Students from government higher secondary school of Vijay Nagar, Nehru Nagar and Devi Akhilya Ashram Schools participated in the campaign.
Indore: Mid-day meal preparation to be prepared under CCTV surveillance
The district administration has decided to install close circuit televisions (CCTVs) and deploy an officer at the place where midday meal is being prepared for school children. The decision was taken by the district panchayat chief executive officer (CEO) Abhishek Singh after an insect was found in ‘dal’, supplied by a private agency, Nakoda Jan Kalyan Samiti, in a Government Middle School in Awasnagar on Wednesday. The private agency has been entrusted by the government to supply hygienic and nutritional noon meal to 88 schools in the urban area of the district. However, the meal was not served to students after the insect was detected and was immediately returned to the private agency office, asking them to cook fresh meal for the kids.
Bhopal: IASOWA to hold medical camp on diabetes
The IAS Officers’ Wives Association (IASOWA) will organise a medical camp for people with diabetes access therapeutic support at JP Hospital on August 9. The IASOWA has announced that the camp is open for all and maximum possible people should come forward and make the most of the opportunity.
