Narayaneeyam recital contest

PALAKKAD: An all-India competition on the recital of Narayaneeyam will be organised by the Bhagavatha Vachaspathy Thottam Krishnan Nampoothiry Memorial Foundation on September 21 at the Narayanalayam near the Sree Krishna Temple at Guruvayur, according to Foundation secretary Thottam Shyam Nampoothiry who is the son of the late Thottam Krishnan Nampoothiry.Dasakam 38 of Narayaneeyam has been earmarked for recital by the students of Standards V, VI and VII. The students from  Standard VIII to XII  should recite Dasakams III, IV and V.
