Student knocked down by bus

HYDERABAD: A degree student was knocked down by a bus of an educational institution near Saroornagar on Tuesday morning.The deceased, P Sai Kiran (21), was a second year student of Shiva Degree College in Kacheguda and a resident of Maruthi Nagar near Dilsukhnagar.Police said the mishap took place when Kiran was travelling towards Saroornagar for personal work on a two-wheeler. At around 7.40 a.m, when Kiran reached Shiva Ganga theatre, the bus of RVR Institute of Engineering and Technology coming from the opposite direction hit his vehicle.Kiran lost his balance and fell under the rear wheels of the bus and was crushed to death instantly.The bus driver fled from the spot, abandoning the vehicle. Saidabad police have registered a case.
