New Delhi: Singer-actress Madonna is in Rajasthan on holiday. The 'Material Girl' took a tour of the historic Umaid Bhawan palace on Saturday.

She was accompanied by her director-husband Guy Ritchie, daughter Lourdes and some friends. The singer visited the palace on the invitation of Maharaja Gaj Singh, heir to the royal family of Jodhpur.

After having admired the palace, Madonna and her entourage made a quiet exit. The singer was also spotted on Sunday making her way to the Udaivilas hotel.

Pop diva Madonna has been so charmed by Rajasthani folk music and dance during her stay here that she is planning to incorporate bits of it in her future album.

"Rajasthani folk songs and dances fascinated Madonna. She especially liked the song Nimbura Nimbura and might even make a remake of it in English and have some steps of ghoomar in her performances," a source told IANS.

"She said that Rajasthan is even more beautiful than what she imagined. She liked Rajasthani cuisine, especially dal and chapattis made of bajra (millet)," the source added.

On Thursday night, she had dressed up in traditional Rajasthani attire of ghagra and choli (long skirt and blouse) and danced with folk artistes at Rohetgarh fort near Jodhpur.
