The artist does not tinker with the universe; he recreates it out of his own experience and understanding of life. — Henry MillerA slow trek to rediscover connotations of the creative mind — pure art is imbued by passion and existence. Conceived on a path laden with mystery and abstraction, the artistic interpretation of the real world lies in the perception of a vision. Recreating poetic intensity beyond the configuration of forms, figures and lines; each artist strives to indulge in the exploration of senses. As expressions percolate through the chasm of inner visions; inspiration impels artists to rediscover the timeless sphere of divinity. And, it is in the refinement of sensations condensed into a picture that art breathes itself back to life. Where aesthetics, philosophy and surrealism conjoin in a crescendo of time, assertion of an artistic expression plays a crucial role in the co-creation of objective reality and unfolding the extraordinary. And, in the convolution of emotions, rhythm and poetry one may reminisce about the magnificence of nature and beauty of creation. The procreation of art with raw materials comprising of coal tar, lead, wax and nails is indeed a formidable notion. However, Lamba has succeeded in nurturing diversity and aggression with each of his paintings. Contoured in molten coal tar, his depiction of man, woman and the omnipotent form an intricate mesh of acceptable reality and contingent spirituality. The disheveled textures and raw intensity of his works rendered in the relevance of the subject matter is indeed commendable. Art being an extension of him, Simran Lamba sought aesthetic appeal in reconstructing different layers with crude symmetry.Experimenting with colour palettes within a finer merger of contiguous blends, Pragya Jain’s core of art circulates positivity and celebrates co-existence. Embracing the in-depth correlation of different forces of nature, Jain strikes a perfect balance of forms, textures and characterisation of the environment in her works. Vibrant colours adorn her canvases in pristine lines of determined geometry. It is her tryst with independence and love for art that led her to construct life in a canvas.Reconnoitring the realms of fantasy, Aamina Shazi’s works take one on an intimate journey of meaning interwoven with balance, perception and charades. Expressing an optimistic exuberance in all her paintings, the artist has managed to rebuild spiritual energies with rustic art. After all, it was the perfect assimilation of the purest elements of life that led to the genesis of art.
