CHENNAI: A remark by Electricity Minister Natham R Viswanathan, allegedly against DMDK chief Vijayakant, triggered a walk out by the party’s members on Thursday in the State Assembly.Viswanathan - without mentioning any names - said, “Can a person go to a village, talk against free electricity to farmers and come back? He does not give anything free including seats in his education institution.” Deputy leader of the opposition, Panruti S Ramachandran urged the Speaker to expunge the remark. He was joined by party members in this demand. When the Minister began announcements on initiatives for 2012-13, the opposition members staged a walk out.
