Dense Fog Blankets North India: 61 Trains Rescheduled, 7 Cancelled; Flight Operations Affected

New Delhi: At least 61 trains have been rescheduled, 7 cancelled and another 13 delayed on Wednesday due to dense fog in parts of north India, officials said.

Several passengers have been stranded at New Delhi Railway Station as train operations were affected due to fog.

Meanwhile, 17 trains are running late and 6 others cancelled in Uttar Pradesh as dense fog blankets Lucknow city resulting in low visibility.

Owing to poor visibility, three international flights and 6 domestic flights from/to Delhi have also been delayed on Wednesday whereas, three domestic flights have been cancelled at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in Delhi.
