Centre: Major lapses in Antrix deal

KOCHI: Coming down heavily on former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair, the Centre on Saturday submitted before the Ernakulam Central Administrative Tribunal that there had been serious administrative and procedural lapses in the Antrix-Devas deal.In a statement filed by Radha Jaisimha, Under Secretary in the Department of Space, the Centre said the High-level Team had found serious lapses in the deal.There was no denial of natural justice and the High-Powered Committee formed for looking into the issue had heard the applicant in person, it said.
