Bips says there is no stopping her from the kind of work she wants to do.

Panaji: Bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu says that tags like sex symbol and item girl attributed to her do not matter and there is no stopping her from the kind of work she wants to do.

"I am overwhelmed that I have been accepted in various kinds of roles and welcomed by open arms by the media and fans alike. I have more reasons to celebrate as Dhoom:2 has opened to full houses,'' Bipasha said while addressing a press conference at the 37th IFFI.

Speaking about Corporate, which was screened in the Indian Panorama section, Bipasha said she could relate to her character Nishigandha Dasgupta in the film.

''She is a working woman of today. She makes sacrifices in love but at the same time she is career-oriented. Like her, I am a hard worker and also soft at heart. I can be as emotional as Nishi could be,'' she added.

Bipasha said Corporate was a special film to her and she would always remeber it because she was appreciated as an actress.

''I want to strike a good balance between all kinds of movies as variety of roles makes an actor versatile and makes him/her more grounded. As an actress, I am adaptable. I have no comfort zone,'' she added.

Bipasha also gave the thumbs-up to Goa as a film festival venue. ''It has a good ambiance to watch films from across the globe. With every passing year, the organisation will get better,'' she added.

Bipasha, who performed at the inauguration ceremony, said she had not watched any movies in the last two days.

''There are many reasons, but I would not like to discuss it. I have many media friends who suggest the names of good movies like Volver and Babel and I am surely going to watch them in my free time,'' she added.

Responding to a question about the criticism about the vulgar language of her other film which is being screened at the festival Omkara, Bipasha said such raunchy language is spoken in parts of UP, Bihar and Delhi as well.

''I cannot understand the fuss over language of the movie. Those who speak it are negative characters in the film,'' Bipasha said.
