Award for excellence in teaching

KOCHI:  The Vidyodaya Institute of Education Management (VIEM) announces a competition for the ‘Award for Excellence in Teaching’. The competition is open to all the teachers of CBSE schools in Kerala. The topic for the competition is ‘quality through team-teaching and technology.’ Teachers participating in the competition are required to submit typed write-ups in English not exceeding three pages on or before October 25. The award carries certificate, citation and cash  prize of  Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 respectively for the first, second and third prize winners. The winning school will also receive a scroll of honour. The write-ups will be screened by a panel of eminent educationalists and those selected in the preliminary screening will have to present the topic before a group consisting of teachers, students and educationalists by the end of November.
