New Delhi: Following complaints from iOS 7 users who are unable to send messages through iMessage, Apple acknowledged that there was a glitch and promised to fix the issue.
"We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update," The Wall Street Journal quoted Apple as saying. "In the meantime, we encourage any users having problems to reference our troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare to help resolve their issue. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes impacted users," added Apple.
The problem came to notice after iOS users updated to iOS 7 and found the iMessage service unable to send messages. A common complaint is that messages appear to be sent, but they are not delivered and a big red exclamation point appears hinting the non-delivery of messages.
