Advani rath yatra opposed

BANGALORE: Popular Front of India (PFI), a confederation of Muslim organisations, has  opposed senior BJP leader L K Advani’s  proposed rath yatra. “Advani himself is accused of corruption, and his party has several corrupt leaders, some of them who are behind bars. What is the point of this exercise?” questioned Chairman of PFI Illyas Mohammed Tumbe.He told reporters here that the BJP will make a mockery of itself by launching an anti-corruption rally.” A party which is involved in corruption cannot hold a rally against corruption. It is just ironic,” he said. “If this yatra witnesses any communal violence Advani will be responsible,” Maulana Syed Saifulla from   All India Imam Council warned.
