HYDERABADl: Three persons died on the spot after local trains hit them while they were crossing the railway tracks in three different places - Borabanda, Khairatabad and Nampally. While railway police have identified two deceased, the details of the one who died at Borabanda are yet to be known. According to railway police, one devotee G Lakshmaiah (62) died on the spot at the Khairatabad railway track after being hit by a local train near the Ganesh idol. A railway police official Madhu said that Lakshmaiah was a retired employee of a private firm and a resident of Chintal near Jeedimetla. He died on the spot with the local MMTS train hitting him while crossing the railway tracks.Around 4 p.m on Saturday, Lakshmaiah had gone to Khairatabad to offer prayers to the massive Ganesh Idol installed there. On his way back home after the prayer, he was crossing the tracks when a local train hit him. He was died on the spot. The railway police handed over the deceased to the family members after autopsy.In another incident, Nallamothula Chandraiah (35), a native of Pondur village of Mahaboobnagar died when a local train knocked him at the Nampally railway station behind AP Legislative Assembly on Saturday here. Chandraiah and his wife Posamma came to the city to earn their livelihood one year ago. While Chandraiah was working as a daily wage labour, his wife Posamma has been working as a guard at an apartment in Lakdi-ka-pul. On Saturday morning at around 11.30 a.m, Chandraiah went to attend nature's call near the railway tracks at Nampally when a local train hit him leading to his instant death. A 30-year-old person was found dead after he was hit by a local train. The accident took place between Borabanda and Bharathnagar colony railway station. Police recovered a railway ticket from the deceased that was issued on Saturday to travel from Borabanda to Patancheru. The railway police said that the deceased wore a black and white-striped shirt and brown pants. "It is quite difficult to identify the deceased as the body was broken into pieces. The details of the deceased are yet to be found out," police said.
