Gifting Skins
Go to the Shop. When you launch Fortnite, this is the tab at the top of the page, between Locker and Battle Pass. To gift skins in Fortnite, you must have two-factor authentication activated on your account and a valid payment method. You can only gift items from the Shop. Currently, you can't gift items from your own locker.
Select an item. This can be a character skin, emote, spray, or Bundle. With Version 16.50, you can now gift Bundles without worrying about gifting the same items twice. Dynamic Bundle gifting allows you to gift only the missing items of a Bundle to your friend.
Select Gift. You can find this to the right of the Purchase button.
Select a friend. You can find your friend from the list or use the search bar. It's recommended to search for your friend's Epic Games display name rather than console gamertag to avoid sending the gift to the wrong person. You cannot refund a gift after it's been sent. If a friend already owns the item, you'll see OWNED in green font where the price would be.
Confirm your purchase. If you don't have enough V-Bucks in your account, you'll be asked to add more first. The gift will be sent immediately.
Troubleshooting Issues
Pay attention to the rules and limits before gifting. If you're having trouble gifting a friend, keep these in mind: Read and understand the Gifting Policy in the bottom-right corner. Check your V-Bucks balance and make sure you have enough. You must be added as friends for at least 48 hours before gifting. Two-factor authentication must be enabled.
Giftable Items
You can gift other players anything in the Item Shop. You can even gift the Battle Pass, but this requires real currency rather than V-Bucks. Here's what you can gift in Fortnite: Outfits Pickaxes Emotes Gliders Backblings Weapon wraps Loading screens Music Contrails Sprays Emojis Banners
