'Garden Bhi Gaye Aur Jhula Bhi Jhule': Delhi Capitals' Fun Post On Rohit Sharma's Viral Comment
Delhi Capitals took note of Rohit Sharma's viral garden comment to share a hilarious post that is now going viral on the internet.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals have made a hilarious Rohit Sharma reference in a video. Days after winning the T20 World Cup, India sent a young squad to compete in a five-match series in Zimbabwe. With Rohit announcing his retirement from T20I cricket, Shubman Gill was appointed as Indian captain for the bilateral tour. A couple of days ahead of the third match of the series, the Delhi Capitals shared a video of Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed on Instagram. Accompanying the clip with the famous Bollywood song Udja Kale Kawan, the franchise wrote, “Boys, when Rohit Sharma is not around.”

“Garden bhi gaye aur jhula bhi jhule, [visited the garden and enjoyed the swing],” read the caption of the post shared by Delhi Capitals on Instagram. The caption was in reference to Rohit Sharma’s famous remark, “Garden me ghoomne nahi aaye, [have not come here to visit the garden]. The Team India skipper said this while taking a dig at his teammates earlier this year. This happened during the second Test played between India and England in Vizag.

Coming back to the Delhi Capitals’ post, in the video, the trio of Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Ravi Bishnoi can be seen sitting on a swing. Rinku Singh and Khaleel Ahmed were handed the duty of helping the trio swing. The young cricketers were supposedly visiting a wildlife sanctuary and were surrounded by giraffes all around. Everyone was smiling before Khaleel slowly walked out of the frame.

Fans could not help themselves from pouring their reactions on the cheeky Delhi Capitals’ post. One of them hilariously suggested Rohit Sharma must now be flying to Zimbabwe after watching this video. “Rohit Sharma travelling for Zimbabwe,” read the response.

Another agreed and wrote, “Rohit Sharma on the way.”

“Rohit Sharma on the way alert,” added another Instagram user.

One fan jokingly suggested that he found it difficult to believe that the post was shared by an official account. “I can’t believe that is an official account,” read the comment.

As for the ongoing series, Team India will now be looking to take the lead by beating Zimbabwe for the second consecutive time. The third T20I match between India and Zimbabwe will take place on Wednesday at the Harare Sports Club.
