Gold Price: Rates Decline Marginally in Metro Cities; Check Prices Here
In the national capital, the cost of 22-carat of gold is Rs 44,390 per 10 grams. While for 24-carat gold it is Rs 4,000 more that is Rs 48,390 for the same quantity.

The rates of gold declined marginally by Re 1 on Monday, March 22, as the price for 1 gram of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 4,392 from the previous rate of Rs 4,393. As per Good Returns, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat-gold is Rs 43,920 witnessing a decrease of Rs 10 from Rs 43,930 on the earlier day. The price of 24 carats of the yellow metal also fell similar to the rates of 22-carat gold by Rs 10 for 10 grams and stood at Rs 44,920 compared to the previous rate of Rs 44,930. However, no changes were observed in the rates of silver for the day as the prices remained the same.

The price of the yellow metal in various metro cities of the country are provided below:

Delhi: In the national capital, the cost of 22-carat of gold is Rs 44,390 per 10 grams. While for 24-carat gold it is Rs 4,000 more that is Rs 48,390 for the same quantity.

Chennai: Rs 42,490 per 10 grams for 22-carat goldwhile for 24-carat gold of the same quantity the cost is Rs 46,350.

Kolkata: Rs 44,550 is the rate at which one can buy the metal on Monday for 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Kolkata while for 24-carat the price is Rs 47,220 per 10 grams.

Mumbai: For 10 grams of 22-carat yellow metalthe price is Rs 43,920, while for 10 grams of 24-carat gold the purchaser needs to pay Rs 1,000 more that is Rs 44,920.

International Price of Gold

In the international market, the rate of gold was down 0.42 percent to USD 1,737.60 per ounce on Monday. Its performance has also declined in the last 30 days by 2.63 percent which is equivalent to USD 47.00.

Silver Prices

Witnessing no changes in its rates compared to the previous day the price of silver is Rs 675 per 10 grams on Monday.

Silver Rates in Metro Cities

In Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata the rate of silver stood at Rs 67,500 for one kilogram. However, the buyer of the metal will have to pay more for buying the same quantity of the metal in Chennai and Hyderabad that is Rs 71,800.
