Disability is never a burden for those who aim higher and dare to fight against all the obstacles. No matter what life throws at them, they choose to rise above all the hindrances and be the real-life hero. This article will talk about one such hero. Her name is Jayashree, who, despite being specially-abled and a mother of two, never let the problems win and survives on her own. She makes money by delivering food orders from Zomato.
On a two-wheeled vehicle particularly designed for specially-abled people, Jayashree delivers food door to door which is a testament to her strength and resilience. Originally from Koppal, the woman is a mother of two children who live in a PG in Kottanoor, Bengaluru. Her kids have not seen their mothers for years.
Jayashree suffered organ failure at the time of delivering her baby a few years back. It was a doctor’s mistake while giving anaesthesia to the woman that compelled her to survive in such harsh situations and live without her daughter. She lost the ability to even stand and walk. Her life soon turned into a nightmare. Despite this, she maintained her strength and kept her hopes alive.
Jayashree gave birth to twin children but lived with them for three or four years only. Her husband left and also took away the kids from her. Her condition worsened after she was separated from her kids. She bought herself a two-wheeler and started delivering Zomato food to people to earn a livelihood. Now, she gets paid Rs 700-800 per day for working from 10 am to 7 pm.
Jayashree has built a new life for herself and stands resilient against those who speak badly about her. She is a role model for everyone and one must take inspiration from her.
