The British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin launched the groundbreaking GT car, the DB12, in India in September 2023.
Months after its launch, the supercar, priced at Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom), has been owned by none other than the Zomato CEO, Deepinder Goyal. He became the first proud owner of the stunning beast on wheels in the country.
The pictures of Deepinder Goyal’s brand-new Aston Martin DB12 supercar were shared by the handle ‘Automobili Ardent India’ on Instagram. The post was captioned, “The very first Aston Martin DB12 in the country! Delivered via Aston Martin New Delhi, this stunner comes painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green. What a stunner this is under the sun.”

According to the aforementioned post, the Zomato CEO chose a Satin Aston Martin Racing Green, which gives the automobile an extremely sleek and classy appearance. This subtle-looking green colour also has enormous 21-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish.
As per the CarToq, the Aston Martin DB12 comes equipped with a Mercedes-Benz-sourced engine. It has a powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that makes around 680 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission comes attached to it.
The newly launched Aston Martin DB12 is a successor to the already popular Aston Martin DB11 GT supercar. As per the company, the new DB12 is 80 percent brand new, with a much sharper-looking exterior and its new massive front grille.
The main highlight of the new DB12 is its interior, which is completely different from the DB11. It gets a brand-new modern and sophisticated layout with a dual-tone leather interior. The beast on wheels also has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as its main characteristic feature. Additionally, the vehicle features a redesigned centre console with several physical buttons. A digital instrument gauge cluster is also included in the car to set it apart.
The new DB12 also has a set of redesigned headlamps with a three-piece DRL setup. Apart from this, the front bumper has been modified to give the vehicle a more aggressive look. Nonetheless, the overall design and silhouette of the DB12 resemble those of the Aston Martin DB11.
Talking about its performance, the DB12 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a whopping 3.5 seconds. According to the manufacturer, it also has adaptive dampers and an electronic rear differential. With the new DB12, the company’s main focus is comfort and cruising on highways and canyons.
In addition to the newly bought Aston Martin DB12 supercar, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has an impressive lineup of luxury cars in his garage. His collection includes a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Ferrari Roma, a Lamborghini Urus, and a Porsche 911 Carrera S.
