As the United States moves towards the business end of the 2016 Presidential Elections, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump are locking horns in first of three slated debates before the United States makes its final choice on November 8, 2016.
A number of issues are expected to be part of the debate, but gender and racism are expected to top the chart especially in the wake of Charlotte shooting where a black man was shot dead by the Police.
While Donald Trump – tagged as a misogynist, warmonger, and xenophobe – defied all odds to become the republican nominee, it wasn’t easy for Hillary Clinton either. She faced some stiff competition from Bernie Sanders before defeating and getting him on board.
It would be interesting to see if a combative Donald Trump delivers his punches the way he has been hitherto or the night would belong to Hillary Clinton who is still under pressure due to Benghazi attack and email controversy.
