Hate Preachers from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia to Be Barred from Entering UK
The UK officials will identify most dangerous extremists from countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan and Indonesia and add them to visa warning lists.

The UK government after noticing a “shocking increase” in extremist activity said new laws are being drawn up to block ‘hate preachers’ from entering the UK. A report by the Telegraph said the home office is looking to break what it believes to be an alliance between the far-left anti-democratic groups and Islamic extremists.

Under the new plan, officials will identify most dangerous extremists from countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan and Indonesia. These people will then be added to visa warning lists. Those on the list will be automatically refused entry to the UK.

“This month the Government will implement a new robust framework with how we deal with this issue to ensure we are dealing with the root cause of this problem and that no extremist groups or organisations are being leant legitimacy by their actions and interactions with central Government. You cannot be part of our civil life if your agenda is to tear it down,” UK PM Rishi Sunak said while speaking on the steps on Downing Street on Friday.

Rishi Sunak said the Home Secretary has instructed that those in the UK on visas who choose to “spew hate” will have their right to be in the country removed, according to the UK Press Association.

UK ministers also believe that existing national security powers will help efforts to halt people who are deemed to be “non-conducive to the public good” from entering the UK.

Individuals with a track record of preaching racism, incitement or using intimidation or violence to undermine the democratic process could be blocked under the new rules.

The move also comes after the election of George Galloway as the MP for Rochdale. Galloway after winning from Rochdale dedicated his victory to the people of Gaza. “This is for Gaza,” Rochdale said.

“I despise the prime minister. And guess what? Millions and millions and millions of people in this country despise the prime minister. I do not respect the prime minister at all,” Galloway said.

Rishi Sunak said that the election of George Galloway as the MP for Rochdale was “horrifying”.

“And it’s beyond alarming that last night, the Rochdale by-election returned a candidate that dismisses the horror of what happened on October 7, who glorifies Hezbollah and is endorsed by Nick Griffin, the racist former leader of the BNP,” Sunak said.

“Nearly everyone in Britain supports these basic values. But there are small and vocal hostile groups who do not. Islamist extremists, and the far right feed off and embolden each other. They are equally desperate to pretend that their violence is somehow justified, when actually these groups are two sides of the same extremist coin,” he further added.
